Food Addiction

Eating disorders are a serious health condition, related to persistent eating behaviours that negatively impact on your health, your emotions, and on your ability to function in important areas of your life. The most common eating disorders are binge–eating, anorexia nervosa, and bulimia nervosa. Most eating disorders involve focusing too much on your weight, body shape, and food leading to dangerous eating behaviours.

How to identify if you are a Food Addict

  • Has anyone ever told you that you had a problem with food?

  • Has eating ever interfered with any part of your life?

  • Has being overweight ever affected any part of your life?

  • Do you worry that you can’t control how much you eat?

  • Have you ever felt frantic about your size, shape or weight?
